Hanaa Edwar Hanaa Edwar (born 1946) is an Iraqi women's rights activist. She is the founder and general secretary of Iraqi Al-Amal Association, and co-founder of the Iraqi Women's Network. In July 2005 she helped organize protest at Article 41 of the newly drafted constitution, and called for a meeting between women's rights activists and members of the constitutional drafting committee.
